Shabbat Shalom!
It’s been a minute.. 🙂
Blessings and joy to all!
One of my favorite pastimes is to sit by the ocean and watch the waves come in and go out. There is something soothing about that rhythm – a constant that brings the peace of knowing something can be counted upon. Like the waves that come in and go out, the Word of Elohim traverses the same path. When we intake it into our hearts and minds, it is bound to go back out again, producing a rhythm of constant fellowship with Him and with others. Our testimonies also follow the same pattern. Events that flow into our lives, flow back out as testimonies of the goodness of our Father. We get to share with others in waves that witness of His mighty arm of power operating in our lives.
Yet, there are some people that feel they have such difficulty at times sharing their testimonies or the good news with others. Sharing the Gospel message with others doesn’t have to be so programmatic as walking up to someone and asking if they know Jesus/Yahushua. Although there is nothing wrong with that approach, sharing the Gospel should be a rhythmic flow that what has been shown to us will also go back out again to others! It is the natural order of constant flowing – that even when we aren’t aware we’re doing it, we are pouring into the lives of others. Be encouraged in this!
The Bible says in Deuteronomy 30:14 and again in Romans 10:8 that “the word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart – to do it” Sometimes I get a bit of anxiety before speaking in front of large groups of people, yet my wife always speaks that calming word to me that says, “it’s in you already”.
So, today, I say to you – “it’s in you already!” Open up the channels and let what is inside of you flow out. Just like breathing, declaring the hope of the Gospel doesn’t have to be so intentional, but simply sharing the fruit of what you’ve been putting inside of you all this time. The fruit is for others to enjoy.. we just need to make sure it’s available!
It’s time to get into the flow! There’s nothing more natural than this!
Love and blessings,
Derek
