The Well Trodden Road Website Release Announcement

Shabbat Shalom,

It is with great joy and excitement, that we write you today. We would like to introduce our website to you, The Well Trodden Road. For those of you who subscribed to our blog at welltrod.wordpress.com; the blog is no longer there. We have moved the blog into our new website.

 Please note (Important):

  • For those of you who subscribed to our blog (who have a wordpress.com account already), you will need to re-sign up for our blog on the website to continue to receive updates by email. If you don’t, the posts will only be available in your WordPress reader and you will not be notified of any new ones.
  • For those who do NOT have a wordpress.com account, and only signed up using an email account, you do not have to do anything. You will still continue to receive updates in your inbox.
  • There are a few email subscribers that just signed up within the last week. I will go ahead and email you personally to re-sign up for the blog on the website, for these email addresses didn’t get moved over at the time of the switchover.

Our blog and newsletter are both under the menu item called The Shofar.

Here is an excerpt from our About page:

We are on the move for Abba, and are following the Lamb wherever He goes. The nomadic lifestyle has it’s difficulties and challenges, however it is one that is free of complications and clutter. It is a life of living clean and simple, orderly and peaceful.

As a reflection of this lifestyle, we have patterned this website after the same manner. Our desire is that you will be able to find the information useful, without distractions and to have a sense of joy and peace as you browse through it. The background of the website was captured from a trip to Arbel, Israel. It is an image that best describes the prophecy spoken over me many years ago. Arbel is one of our most favorite places to go, sit and read Scripture on Shabbat, while in Israel.

We have chosen to follow the path through the wilderness on our way Home to the promise Land; for only through this journey, are we stripped of everything that weighs us down, causing us to rest in the peaceful order that He established for us. If we allow Him, He uses His rod and His staff to bring us comfort through teaching us discipline. It is His way of leading us, bringing the security and peace in knowing that if we lose our way, He is there to lead us back to the paths of righteousness.

Please feel free to browse the website at your leisure. We are excited about the upcoming Feast of Unleavened Bread. It is a time to focus on the coming Kingdom, but also a time to look back, giving thanks to Yah for His deliverance from the bondage of the old kingdom. Stay close to Him – Stay free from the old kingdom!

Rivkah and I look forward to populating the website with more content that will bring instruction and encouragement to those who long to reflect the image of Messiah Yahushua.

Any comments are welcome regarding the site. Please go to the contact page to submit your note.

I have been able to test the website using different browsers, however, if something doesn’t look right on your screen, please let us know. But before you do, try and adjust the zoom level of your monitor. I’ve been doing websites a while now, and with all of the different types of computers, web browsers and mobile devices out there, it’s virtually impossible to have what I see on my screen, look exactly the same across board.

The website is interactive, so please ‘CLICK’ around. If you can’t see a picture, then click on it and it will zoom in bigger.

Our desire is just to be simple servants of the Master; affiliated only with His nature, ways and thinking. We are in the process of making major changes and taking leaps of faith. Our only request is that you join with us in prayer as we have many petitions before Abba.

Please pass the website around to whomever you feel led to. The hour is drawing near, and Messiah is moving forward with His Father’s plan. For very soon, the one word that the enemy is terrified of hearing, will be announced from the rooftops; the word from Yahuweh Himself to His Son – ‘RIDE’. For when the enemy hears this, his end, and the end of his followers, is near.

Check the oil in your lamps.

Support each other.

Love each other with actions!

Only for the esteem of Yahuweh do we breath and exist;

Love,

Derek and Rivkah
