We have entered into the time of “loyalty under fire” where our commitment to the One who redeemed us from the grave will be put under extreme pressure in order to determine whether our Yes is truly Yes and our No is truly No.
If we do not uphold His decision to have mercy on us as sinners by living a forgiven lifestyle, we will in-turn mock His goodness, spit on the cross, fail to forgive others and earn back upon our own heads the debt that was once forgiven us.
When our life is over, what kind of Kingdom impact will we have made in the lives of other human beings? That all depends on how we respond today to the blood of our Savior Messiah. The Day of Atonement lies as the portal between time and eternity. There is no other way to reach the other side of peace and rest without first going through what Messiah called as ‘the days He must shorten if any flesh will remain alive.’
