At sunset, on October 20, 2017, the renewed moon of the 8th Hebrew month was NOT sighted in/around Jerusalem, Israel by two witnesses. Therefore by default, the new month begins at sunset today.
Rosh Chodesh (9th Hebrew Month—Kislev)
At sunset, on November 19, 2017, the renewed moon of the 9th Hebrew month was NOT sighted in/around Jerusalem, Israel by two witnesses. Therefore by default, the new month begins at sunset today.
