A Little Exhortation

Our dearest subscribers—

So sorry its been a while since we’ve posted anything.. We are still here. We are going through major transitions again and its been a journey..

I want to just encourage you this evening from 2 Timothy 4.. Our dear brother Shau’l (Paul) exhorts us to watch closely, warning us against those who do not preach what he preached.. Read Acts 13 and see his heart as he uses the “Old Testament” to prove that Yahushua (Jesus) was the Messiah. We are truly living in the last of the last days. Hold onto John 3:16. Hold onto the simplicity of the gospel of the Kingdom. That truly is the ‘faith’ foundation we are never to leave.

The world is full of hatred and misunderstandings. Many “believers” don’t even believe that the Bible is the “Word of God”. They do not believe the devil is real. So much heresy, and backbiting, and garbage coming forth from ‘professing’ believers. These things should not be so.

Anyway, I just wanted to reach out this evening before bed and say, blessings and joy to each of you.

I leave you with the sweetness of the Word and the powerful exhortation from our brother Shau’l.. Rivkah and I read all of 2 Timothy while in Rome at the Coliseum. It was very sobering to say the least..

Shalom,

Derek

“I solemnly charge you in the presence of Elohim (God) and of Messiah Yahushua, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths. But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which Yahuweh (the Lord), the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.”–NASB (replaced Names with His Hebrew Names/Titles)
