WORSHIP!

Shalom all!

WORSHIP! It is the sword that cuts down the lies of the enemy. It is the vehicle that takes us into the presence of the King.

We wanted to share with each of you some special music that we’ve just discovered—Jonathan David Helser and his wife Melissa.

We have been a long time listener to psalmist Kent Henry, who’s music literally takes you to the feet of the Master. I first started listening to his music back in the early 1990’s, while I was stationed in Germany. I attended a small assembly where the believers met in homes each week. We would go all day in fellowship, prayer and worship. Many times it was 6 to 8 hours of extreme intimacy with Abba. There were times during the food fellowship, that while people were talking, I would escape to a little side room where Kent Henry was playing on the cassette player. I would find myself lost in worship–many times losing track of time.

Since then, I have not found that kind of spontaneous worship and psalmist material anywhere—until now. Oh yes, there are lots of anointed song leaders, bands, etc.. but there are few that I have found that really touch the spinal cord of the presence of Abba as Jonathan David and Melissa Helser. They are based out of North Carolina.

Praise Abba that He gives various gifts to different people for the building up of His body. He is raising up in this last generation, a new sound with ancient roots of truth that go deep into the heart of Abba’s songbook. As Jonathan says, its amazing to picture the angels and the elders in heaven falling upon their faces to worship the Lamb. And as they rise up again, they imagine how can they keep doing this–until they see His face again and realize He is more amazing than He was the last time they looked at Him. So they fall down again in worship and repeat the same cycle. Each time, the Lamb and His goodness and beauty gets better and better–HalelluYah! Is heaven going to be boring? I don’t think so!!

The song I am sharing today, “God of the Angel Armies” is about what the servant of Elisha saw when Yahuweh opened his eyes (2 Kings 6). It speaks about Messiah walking through the walls where His disciples were gathered, shortly after His resurrection. It speaks of us blowing like the wind in worship. It speaks of not being afraid. There are so many facets to it, it is sure to touch each of you.

This particular extended version is probably one of the most powerful and anointed times in worship I’ve ever experienced. It would be best that when you do listen, set aside all distractions and preferably use headphones to really dive into what is being proclaimed.

Take a look at our new webpage (see the ‘click here’ link below). The webpage is called ‘Worship’. Here we will post praise and worship music that really touches and impacts us to the center of our being. You can listen to both individual songs as well as YouTube playlists where you can listen to multiple songs back to back. Visit here often, as we will periodically upload new music. We know it might be just as easy for you to go out and search for music yourselves, but this webpage is designed so that you do not have to leave our peaceful website to listen.

Join us in the spontaneous times of refreshing! It is imperative we dig deep into the water source of His presence if we will survive the coming ‘draught’ of tribulation!

Much Joy and Love,
Derek and Rivkah
